Designed for stand alone or integrated use with OptiView Console and Protocol Expert, our OptiView DS3/E3 WAN Analyzer allows you to remotely evaluate the status of your Frame Relay, ATM, PPP or HDLC WAN links from the physical to the application layer. With virtually no configuration required, the Analyzer measures link parameters of your DS3/E3 circuit to provide an immediate, comprehensive, front page view of WAN link performance.

* Can be used to identify WAN issues such as virus attacks, new unknown applications, unauthorized access attempts, and irregular traffic patterns
* Deliver the necessary flexibility to categorize applications and track their usage by user and over time
* Continuously monitors the physical and link layers of DS3 circuits, immediately identifying any problems with the basic WAN service
* LMI statistics for the link monitored include LMI errors, LMI details and VC availability
* Physical layer errors are continuously monitored in both directions on the full-duplex link
* All devices may be sorted in ascending or descending order by Virtual Circuit, IP address or name
* Offer a full battery of utilization statistics
* Unique design examines packets across all virtual circuits simultaneously to allow users to sort virtual circuits in rank order by a variety of metrics
* WAN Analyzer is capable of full line-rate packet capture and can capture up to 256 megabytes of data
