The R&S PR100 is a portable receiver for radiomonitoring in the wide frequency range from 9 kHz to 7.5 GHz.
Whether used for monitoring emissions, detecting interference, or locating miniature transmitters, the receiver offers features unrivaled in its class. Together with the R&S HE300 portable directional antenna, it forms a compact receiving system.
The R&S PR100 is notable for its wide frequency range, excellent receive characteristics, realtime bandwidth of 10 MHz, and large 6" color display. In combination with the enhanced marker function and display capability, the large display allows convenient, optical evaluation of signals by measurement.
Its small dimensions and low weight make the R&S PR100 ideal for use in places that cannot be reached with a vehicle. Its low power consumption permits battery operation of up to four hours. The battery pack can be exchanged very quickly. The current measurement data is automatically written to the internal memory when the instrument is switched off.
In order to yield good results even in areas with high signal levels, the receiver is equipped with effective preselectors. This reduces the signal sum load in scenarios that involve a large number of powerful transmitters.
All receiver functions can be remote-controlled via the LAN interface (Ethernet 10/100BaseT). All measurement results, including the spectrum data, are output via the interface. The receiver can therefore also be used in combination with a remote operating station.
